The Transportation Safety Advisory Commission (TSAC) will convene on
Thursday, November 3, 2005
6:30pm in the Municipal Complex Conference Room, 1400 Schertz Parkway,
Schertz, Texas. The Agenda is as follows:

✓2. Introduction of TSAC members
✓3. Review and Approval of Minutes: September 1, 2005
/4. Hearing of Residents
�. Paschal Elementary School Traffic issue to be discussed and possible
action taken.
J6. Discussion on the relocation of the Corbett Middle School Flashing and
the concerns of Mr. Wade Hawkins, SCUCISD Director of Facilities and
Construction. Facts as exist to date.:9!��
/7. Discuss stat s of IH-35 and Wiederstein Road - Poor Drainage on the
Roadway. 4
,/8. Discussion and possible action for the installation of a blind spot mirror
on the Westbound Schertz Parkway Exit off IH-35 South.
V/9. Discussion and possible action for the possible installation of a Warning
Sign for vehicular traffic on the Westbound IH-35 Access Road that truck
traffic exiting onto the access road may cross both lanes.
✓ 10. Discussion and possible action regarding a concern by Mr. Dave Cohen
from Wynnbrook Subdivision that the streets of Silver Oak intersecting
Rainey Brook lacks a NO OUTLET or DEAD END Warning Sign.
/11. Discussion on the results of the Northcliffe Homeowners meeting by Mr.
Carpenter.
_,,1/2. Discussion and possible action by TxDot to install signs on FM 78 at
FM 3009 intersection prohibiting U-Turns on FM 78 past the above
intersection. This action will permit and justify Schertz Police ticketing
violators.
.,/13. Discussion and possible action for the pursuit of TxDot to reconsider
permitting dual left turns on FM 78 at FM 3009 Monday through
Friday, 4 pm to 6 pm only. Traffic is still backed up to the Dairy Queen
and terribly dangerous for Lone Oak residents making the turn onto
Cloverleaf from Westbound lanes.
/14. Discussion and possible action for the installation of a 4-way overhead
flashing yel4ow light at the corner of Schertz Parkway and Elbel Road.
/15. Discussion and possible action: Legacy Oaks Parkway and Schertz
Parkway Right Turn Only requirement.
/16. Discussion and possible action concerning the request for Speed
Humps on Northcliffe's Mayfair and Crestwood area, 2 TSAC members
performing speed counts with radar gun. Their findings have impact.
17. Discussion and possible action on conducting a study of Woodland
Oaks Drive and Broadleaf for erection of possible stop signs per request
of Woodland Oaks Home Owners Association.
18. Discussion and possible action regarding change of speed limit on
Lower Seguin Road or retain as is.
19. Discussion and possible action on application for reappointment or
replacement of four (4) TSAC members whose term expires on
December 31, 2005.
/20. General Discussion items by Commission Members for inclusion on
next month's agenda and items for the Public Works Director's
Information and Action.
