The Transportation Safety Advisory Committee (TSAC) will convene on Thursday,
November 1, 2001 at 6:30 P.M. in the Municipal Complex Conference Room, 1400
Schertz Parkway, Schertz, Texas. The agenda is as follows:

L Dave Allen talked at length with Mr. Byran Hocher, TxDot
District Engineer on 10/1. He said that he had sent a memo with
our concerns to Clay Smith. Mr. Smith had indicated that he was
going to do a study of IH 35 and would then be in contact with
the City of Schertz for discussion

1 . Dave Allen talked at length with Mr. Byran Hocher, TxDot
District Engineer, on 10/1 and again on 10/16. He said
that he had prepared a cost estimate and forwarded to
Clay Smith, District Engineer, for construction of
acceleration/deceleration lanes on FM 3009. On 10/16 he
indicated he would be in touch with his supervisor and
discuss our concerns, especially the speed limit. He would
keep me posted.
