AN ORDINANCE
BY THE_CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR THE MODIFICATION OF THE
BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS, BY THE DISANNEXATION OF A TRACT OF
LAND CONTAINING 2.34 ACRES OF LAND OUT OF
COMAL COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described tract of land is contained
within the City of Schertz, Texas; and
WHEREAS, by the passage of this ordinance, disannexation of
said territory will have been brought to completion
within ninety f90) days of the institution of
disannexation proceedings; and
WHEREAS, the City
of the
suitable

opinion and finds that such territory is
at this time for municipal purposes and
is in the best interest of the City of
Texas, and the citizens and inhabitants
that said territory be disannexed from and
be a part of the said City; NOW THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS:

THAT the following described territory containing
approximately 2.34 acres of land lying within the City of
Schertz, Texas, be, and said territory shall hereinafter be
excluded from the boundary limits of said city and the
various points contiguous to the area described are hereby
altered and amended so as to exclude said land and territory
from the corporate limits of the City of Schertz, Texas;
said land being more particularly described by metes and
bounds as follows:

FIELDNOTES for a 2.34 acre tract of land out of the Rafael Garza
Survey No. 98, A-175, Comal County, Texas to be deannexed by the
City of Schertz being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the intersection point of the City of Schertz, Texas
city limits line as defined by Ordinance 81-A-12 and the
southwestern boundary line of Northcliffe Estates Model Home Park
as recorded in Volume 9, Page 7 of the Map Records of Comal
County, Texas, said point situated in the northeast right-of-way
line of Country Club Blvd. and situated S 29° 55' 14" E, a
distance of 634.20 feet from the first flare corner in the
northeast right-of-way line of Country Club Blvd. at I.H. 35,
said point also situated 900 feet in a southeasterly direction
from the centerline of I.H. 35;
THENCE, with the southwest line of said subdivision, also the
northeast right-of-way line of Country Club Blvd. N 29° 55' 14"
W, a distance of 353.19 feet to the west corner of said
subdivision;
THENCE, with the northwest boundary line of said subdivision
N 59° 45' 00" E, a distance of 241.84 feet to the north corner of
said subdivision;
THENCE, with the northeast boundary line of said subdivision
S 45° 54' 00" E, a distance of 268.17 feet to a corner of said
subdivision;
THENCE, continuing with the northeast boundary of said
subdivision S 29° 55' 14" E, a distance of 94.95 feet to the
intersection point of the Schertz city limits line and the
northeast boundary line of said subdivision, said point also
situated 900 feet on a southeasterly direction form the center
line of I.H. 35;
THENCE, with the Schertz city limits line S 59° 45' 00" W, a
distance of 315.67 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing
2.34 acres of land (101,955 square feet).

THAT the territory so described and
disannexed shall hereafter cease to be part
Schertz, Texas.
