PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION
HELD ON JANUARY 16, 1973
The Planning & Zoning Commission convened in a Public hearing at the
Council Chambers on Tuesday, January 16, 1973, at 7:00 P.M, with the following
members present; Weldon Willbanks, Chairman; Wise, Wi11s, and Sawyer.
Matters brought before the Commission were:
(A) Rezoning of property adjacent to Live Oak (0.451 acres, located at
the intersection of Oak Street and Maple Drive, out of the G. Malpaz
Survey ~k67, Patent ~~276, Volume One, Abstract ~~22, out of Subdivision
~~13, Guadalupe County, Texas); as petitioned by Buffalo Development Corp.
and Mr. Bill Albert; and, the preliminary building plans of Mr. Albert's
Garden Shop.
A motion was made by Mr. Wills to accept Mr. Albert's proposal and to
rezone this property accordingly. The motion was seconded by Mr. ~vttg and
approved by all members present. 6.~t5~
There were no dissenting property owners at this meeting and all property
owners within 200' were notified of this meeting as required by City
Ordinance ~~139.
The Planning & Zoning Commission then called a Special Meeting,
The plans for building the Schertz State Bank were also presented to
the Commission. A motion was made by Mr. to accept the preliminary
plans for the Schertz State Bank. The mot~was seconded by Mr. Wills
and approved by all members present.
The following interested people were present at this meeting: Mr.
Fred Fleming-201 Maple St. (property owner within 200' feet of the Garden
Shop proposal)-no objection; Mr. Leon R. Chambless; Mr. Denny Arnold,
and Mr. Bill Albert.
There being no further business, this meeting was adjourned at 5;30 P.M.
