The Schertz Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council
conducted a joint public hearing on Tuesday, April 4; 1989 at.
7:00 P.M. in the Municipal Complex Conference Roomr 1400 Schertz
Parkway. Those present were as follows:

Mayor Earl Sawyer called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. and
turned it over to Planning and Zoning Chairman Ty Brisgill.
Chairman Brisgill explained the rules of procedure that would be j
used for the public hearing.

#2 PDSLIC HEARING: Amendment to Zoning Ordinance 87-5-1 '
(ZC #91)
To receive input from the public on an amendment to the Zoning
Ordinance which would limit the wall height of an accessory
building to not more than eight (8') feet and the total building
height to nct more than fifteen (15') feet.
Councilman Aguilar briefly reviewed the proposed amendment.
Michele Tereletsky of the Schertz Humane Society asked if the
total building height of 15' excluded the foundation or was
measured from the ground up.
Bob Andrews replied it is measured from the ground up to the tip
of the roof . _
Doris Courtney asked if the 8' wall height. refers ao the inside
_ wall and was told it does. - - - -
There were no further questions or comments. ~ _

Chairman Brisgill turned the meeting back over to Mayor Sawyer
who adjourned the public hearing at 7:04 P.M.
