ORDINANCE NO. 74-H-ll
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS, ACCEPTING DEDICATION OF LANDS AND IMPROVEMENTS
FOR RECREATIONAL PURPOSES AND PROVIDING FOR THE MAIN-
TENANCE; SAID LANDS BEING IDENTIFIED BY EXHIBIT IN CON-
JUNCTION WITH THE DEVELOPMENT OF PROPERTY KNOWN AS
"VILLAGE TOWN HOMES" , SAID PROPERTY BEING COMPRISED OF
A TRACT OF LAND OF APPROXIMATELY 19.81 ACRES LOCATED
EAST OF LIVE OAK ROAD AND ABUTTING THE SOUTHERLY RIGHT-
OF-WAY LINE OF ELBEL ROAD; AND PROVIDING FOR TIME OF
ACCEPTANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Schertz, Texas, at
their meeting of March 19, 1974, finds that the acceptance of such dedication,
improvements, and maintenance is consistent with the objectives of the City's
Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, the acceptance of dedication, improvements, and main-
tenance will be at the end of a one-year period from the date of completion of
the improvement of all areas designated for recreational use as identified by
the Plan; and
WHEREAS, the acceptance of dedication, improvements, and main-
tenance is in the best interest of the health, welfare, and convenience of the
City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
That the City Council accepts the dedication of land, improvements,
and maintenance within a one-year period from time of completion of all
improvements of that land identified for recreational use by the Plan exhibit
entitled, "Village Townhomes".
