AN ORDINANCE
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS, AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 87-S-1
BY REZONING APPROXIMATELY 14 ACRES OF LAND OUT OF
GUADALUPE COUNTY AND REFLECTING SUCH CHANGES ON
CERTAIN ZONING MAPS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
SCHERTZ ZONING ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS:
SECTION I
THAT Zoning Ordinance No. 87-S-l of the City of Schertz,
Texas, is hereby amended in the following manner:
"Rezone approximately 10.75 acres of land out of
Guadalupe County, Texas, being more particularly
described on the Field Notes and Planning and
Zoning Commission notes attached and made a part
hereof, from GB (General Business) to R-2
(Single-Family Dwelling District).
SECTION II
Rezone approximately 3.25 acres of land out of
Guadalupe County, Texas, being more particularly
described on the Field Notes and Planning and
Zoning Commission notes attached and made a part
hereof, from GB (General Business) to NS
(Neighborhood Services)."
SECTION II I
THAT the Zoning District Maps described and referred to in
Article II, Section 3.1 and 3.2 of the City of Schertz
Zoning Ordinance No. 87-S-l shall be changed to reflect
the above amendments.

NOTICE TO PROPERTY OWNERS
NOTICE is hereby given of a public hearing by the Schertz Planning
and Zoning Commission and the Schertz City Council on a request
from Ron Wood, for the rezoning of approximately 4.5 acres from GB
(General Business) to R-2 (Single Family Dwelling District) Live
Oak Hills Ltd. Said property is bounded on the east of Schertz
Parkway and west of Nile Lane; block 39, lots 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 10,
13; block 40, lots 1, 2, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 12; block 41, lots 7,
and 6; block 42, lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 9.
In addition, the City of Schertz Planning and Zoning Commission has
recommended that the remaining lots in blocks 39, 40, 41, and 42
excluding lots 9 - 16 in block 41 and lots 10 - 18 in block 42 be
rezoned from GB (General Business) to R-2 (Single Family Dwelling
District). Lots 9 - 16 in block 41 and lots 10 - 18 in block 42
are recommended to be rezoned from GB (General Business) to NS
(Neighborhood Services). All property is in Guadalupe County,
Schertz, Texas.
The Commission's public hearing for such land, being within 200
feet of property listed by the tax office as belonging to you, will
be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 1996 in the Municipal
Complex Council Chambers, 1400 Schertz Parkway, Schertz, Texas.
