AN ORDINANCE
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS, AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE 79-S-l5 BY
REZONING 105 ACRES OF LAND OUT OF GUADALUPE
COUNTY TO PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT AND
REFLECTING SUCH CHANGE ON CERTAIN ZONING MAPS
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SCHERTZ ZONING
ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
THAT Zoning Ordinance No. 79-S-l5 of the City of
Schertz, Texas, is hereby amended in the following manner:
"That 105 acres of land out of Guadalupe County out of
the T. Herrera Survey No. 68, Guadalupe County, Texas
located on the westerly side of F.M. 3009 between the
Horseshoe Oaks Subdivision (known as Woodland Oaks) and
Savannah Square Subdi vis ion with the proposed Schertz
Parkway General Business District as the westerly
border is changed in classification to Planned unit
Development and imposing the following conditions:
A. Providing that the lot sizes adjacent to Woodland
Oaks and Savannah Square be of at least equal size."
THAT the Zoning District maps, described and referred
to in Article II, Section 3.1 and 3.2 of the City of Schertz
Zoning Ordinance No. 79-S-l5, shall be changed to reflect the
above amendment.

The City of Schertz City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission will
conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, September 3, 1985 at 7:00 P.M. in the
Municipal Complex Council Chambers, 1400 Live Oak Road. The purpose of the
public hearing is to receive input from the public on a rezoning request by
Morton Southwest for a 105 acre tract of land from Single Family Dwelling
District (R1 and R2) to General Business and Planned Unit Development (PUD).
Said land is out of the T. Herrera Survey No. 68, Guadalupe County, Texas,
located on the westerly side of FM 3009 between the Horseshoe Oaks Subdivi-
sion (known as Woodland Oaks) and Savannah Square with the proposed Schertz
Parkway General Business District as the westerly border.
