A RESOLUTION
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS
CASTING VOTES TO ELECT DIRECTORS FOR THE
GUADALUPE COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT FOR THE
YEARS 2000-2001.
WHEREAS, Section 6.03(k), of the Texas Property Tax Code, as
amended by S8469, requires that each taxing unit entitled to vote cast their vote
by Resolution and submit results of that vote to the Chief Appraiser of the
Guadalupe County Appraisal District before November 15, 1999; NOW
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS:
THAT, the City Council of the City of Schertz, Texas submits the
attached Official Ballot, as issued by the Chief Appraiser, stating the vote for
candidates for the election of the Board of Directors for the Guadalupe County
Appraisal District for the years 2000-2001.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED, this Itd day of ~~
1999, in Special Workshop Session of the governing body of the City of Schertz,
Texas, as authorized under Section 6.03 of the Texas Pro erty Tax Code, and
amended by S8469, for the purpose of casting votes elect the Board of
Directors of the Guadalupe County Appraisal District

RESOLUTION OF VOTES CAST TO ELECT DIRECTORS FOR THE GUADALUPE COUNTY
APPRAISAL DISTRICT FOR THE YEARS 2000-2001
WHEREAS, Section 6.03(k), of the Texas Property Tax Code, as amended by SB469, requires that
each taxing unit entitled to vote cast their vote by Resolution and submit results of that vote to the
Chief Appraiser of the Guadalupe County Appraisal District before November 15, 1999.
THEREFORE, THE submits the above

Dear Mayor Baldwin,
Enclosed is an Official Ballot to elect Board of Directors for the Guadalupe
County Appraisal District for 2000-2001. Directions are included as well as a
resolution format for submission. Per Section 6.03(k) of the Property Tax Code,
the governing body must submit their vote to the Chief Appraiser before
November 15. The Chief Appraiser shall count the vote, declare the five
candidates who receive the largest cumulative vote totals elected, and submit the
results before December 1 to the governing body of each taxing unit in the district
and to the candidates.
