AN ORDINANCE
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS,
AMENDING THE UNIFIED DEVELOPMENT CODE (UDC)
ORDINANCE 96-S-28 GRANTING A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT TO
ALLOW SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL USE IN THE AIR
INSTALLATION COMPATIBLE USE ZONE (AICUZ) APZ-2 ON
104.553:1: ACRES OF LAND SITUATED OUT OF THE STACY B. LEWIS
SURVEY NO. 317, AND ANTONIO ZAMORA SURVEY NO. 36, BEXAR
COUNTY, SCHERTZ, TEXAS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY; AND
PROVIDING A REPEALING CAUSE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
THAT, UDC Ordinance No. 96-S-28 of the City of Schertz, Texas is hereby amended in the
following manner.
SECTION I
"Grant a Specific Use Permit to allow single-family residential use in the Air Installation
Compatible Use Zone (AICUZ) APZ-2 on 104.553:f: acres of land situated out of the Stacy B.
Lewis Survey No. 317, and the Antonio Zamora Survey No. 36, Bexar County, Schertz, Texas,
more particularly described in the Field Notes and Map, as attached hereto as Exhibit A."
SECTION II
THAT, the Zoning District Map described and referred to in Article III of the UDC, Ordinance
96-S-28 shall be changed to reflect the above amendments.
SECTION III
THAT, by vote of not less than two-thirds of the members of the City Council present at the
meeting at which this Ordinance was first considered, the City Council has determined that an
emergency exists which requires immediate action, and this Ordinance is hereby adopted on a
single reading and shall be effective from and after its final passage and any publication required
by the City of Schertz.
SECTION IV
THAT all ordinances or parts of ordinances in' conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this the 11 th day of April, 2006.
