ORDINANCE NO. 73-U-4 AN ORDINANOE #73-U-'I OF THE OITY COUNOIL OF THE OITY OF SOHERTZ, TEXAS APPROVING AND ADJPTING A MINOR AMENDMENT TO THE URBAN RENEWAL PLAN FOR BUFFALO VALLEY NORTH PROJEOT TEX. R-112; AND DIREOTING THAT SAID OHANGE BE FILED AS PART OF THE URBAN RENEWAL PLAN FOR SAID PROJEOT WITH THE CITY SECRETARY. WHEREAS, the Oity has adopted a Redevelopment Plan known as the Urban Renewal Plan for Buf'falo Valley North Project, Tex. R-112; and WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Agency has now proposed a Minor Amendment to said Plan for the purpose of: a. Authorizing R-2 single-family housing in the R-1 single-family housing district. b. Changing the land use on the east end of Main Street from R-4 Multi-Family District to C-2 General Business District, to align with the present C-2 General Business District on the north side of Main Street. Parcels 55-3 through 55-7 being affected; and WHEREAS, said Minor Amendment has been submitted to and approved by the Board of Commissioners of the Urban Renewal Agency and the Planning Commission of the City of Schertz and received favorable recommendation from both bodies; and WHEREAS, said Minor Amendment has been submitted to and found accept- able by the Department of Housing and Urban Development Area Office, San Antonio, Texas; and WHEREAS, the provisions of the Texas Urban Renewal Law regarding modification of Urban Renewal Plans has been cOIl1Plied with; now, therefore BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ: 1. Minor Amendment to the Urban Renewal Plan for the Buf'falo Valley North Project Tex. R-112 is hereby ratified, adopted and approved. 2. Minor Amendment, which consists of two pages of textual material, being nUlllbered pages 4 and 6, is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Said numbered pages shall supersede the same numbered pages in the original Plan and shall be placed on file with the City Clerk as notice of this amendment.
