Concrete truck wash -out locations must be shown on the SW3P Layout and included in the inspections. Hazardous material spill /leak shall be prevented or minimized. At a minimum, this includes asphalt products, fuels, oils, lubricants, solvents, paints, acids, concrete curing compounds and chemical additives for soil stabilization. BMPs shall be implemented to the storage areas of these products. All spills must be cleaned and disposed properly and reported to the Engineer. Report any release at or above the reportable quantity during a 24 hour period to the National Response Center at 1- 800 - 424 -8802. SANITARY SEWER All sanitary waste will be collected from portable units as necessary, or as required by local regulations by a Licensed Sanitary Waste Management Contractor. NARRATIVE - SEQUENCE OF CONSTRUCTION (STORM WATER MANAGEMENT) ACTIVITIES:. The order of activities will be as follows: 1. Contractor shall limit vegetative and soil disturbance to essential construction sites only. 2. Install perimeter controls prior to construction. 3. Implement phase construction system installation. 4. Construction of the proposed work contained in contract and as outlined in general phasing of the project 5. Project clean up 6. Replace the topsoil and seed required areas . OTHER REQUIREMENTS & PRACTICES MAINTENANCE: All erosion and sediment controls shall be maintained in good working order. If a repair is necessary, it shall be performed before the next anticipated storm event but no later than 7 calendar days after the surrounding exposed ground has dried sufficiently to prevent further damage from equipment. If maintenance prior to the next anticipated storm event is impracticable, maintenance must be scheduled and accomplished as soon as practicable. Disturbed areas on which construction activities have ceased, temporarily or permanently, shall be stabilized within 14 calendar days unless they are scheduled to and do resume within 21 calendar days. The areas adjacent to creeks and drainageways shall have priority followed by protecting storm sewer inlets. INSPECTION: For areas of the construction site that have not been finally stabilized, areas used for storage of materials, structural control measures, and locations where vehicles enter or exit the site, personnel provided by the permittee and familiar with the SW3P must inspect disturbed areas at least once every fourteen (14) calendar days and within twenty four (24) hours of the end of a storm of 0.5 inches or greater. As an alternative to the above - described inspection schedule of once every fourteen (14) calendar days and within twenty four (24) hours of a storm of 0.5 inches or greater, the SW3P may be developed to require that these inspections will occur at least once every seven (7) calendar days. If this alternative schedule is developed, the inspection must occur on a specifically defined day, regardless of whether or not there has been rainfall since the previous inspection. An Inspection and Maintenance Report shall be prepared for each inspection and the controls shall be revised on the SW3P within seven (7) calendar days following the inspection. WASTE MATERIALS: All non - hazardous municipal waste materials such as litter, rubbish, trash and garbage located on or originating from the project shall be collected and stored in a securely lidded metal dumpster, provided by the Contractor. The dumpster shall be emptied as necessary or as required by local regulation and the trash shall be hauled to a permitted disposal facility. The burying of non - hazardous municipal waste on the project shall not be permitted. Construction material waste sites, stockpiles and haul roads shall be constructed to minimize and control the amount of sediment that may enter receiving waters. Construction material waste sites shall not be located in any wetland, water body or stream bed. Construction staging areas and vehicle maintenance areas shall be constructed in a manner to minimize the runoff of pollutants. OFFSITE VEHICLE TRACKING: Off -site vehicle tracking of sediments and the generation of dust must be minimized. Excess sediments on road shall be removed on a regular basis as directed /approved by the Engineer. OR ROCK IN LEDGE OR BOULDER, ARE FOUND AT THE PIPE BEARING LEVEL, OR IF FLEXIBLE PIPE IS USED, THE TRENCH SHOULD BE UNDER EXCAVATED AS DIRECTED AND BACKFILLED WITH CRUSHED STONE OR GRAVEL, 1/4" TO 1 -314" SIZE. THE EMBEDDING SHALL EXTEND UP THE SIDES OF THE PIPE SUFFICIENTLY TO EMBED THE LOWER QUADRANT OF THE PIPE. 3.
