MINUTES OF MEETING
Thursday- August 14, 2014 —11:30 A.M.
Call to Order and Establish a Quorum.
Mayor Suarez called the meeting to order at 12:06 P.M.
2. Welcome and Introductions.
Mayor Suarez thanked everyone for attending the August 2014 Northeast Partnership
meeting.
Mayor Suarez introduced the guests for the August NEP meeting.
A. Presentation by Colonel Matthew Isler, Commander of the 12th Flying Training
Wing, JBSA, Randolph A.F.B.
B. Presentation by Julie Hastings of Cobb, Fendley & Associates
C. Judge Wolfe
3. Approval of Minutes for July 10, 2014.
Mayor Dennis made a motion to approve the workshop minutes of July 10, 2014,
Mayor Carpenter seconded the motion, the motion passed.
4. Approval of Workshop Minutes for August 7, 2014
Mayor Dennis made a motion to approve the workshop minutes of August 7, 2014,
Mayor Williams seconded the motion, the motion passed.
5. Approval of Treasurer's Report for August 2014.
Mayor Dennis made a motion to approve the August Treasurer's Report; Mayor Jackson
seconded the motion, the motion passed.

C. Discussion of a proposal for Legislative Consultant.
D. Nomination and Election of NEP Executive Board Members:
1. Action to appoint Schertz Mayor Michael Carpenter as Chairman.
2. Action to appoint Cibolo Mayor Lisa Jackson as Vice - Chairman.
3. Action to appoint Garden Ridge Mayor - Protem Nadine Knaus as Treasurer.
- Mayor Dennis made a motion to accept the new officers, Mayor Williams seconded
the motion. The motion carried.
8. Establish a Date and Time of Next Meeting- September 11, 2014.
Door Prizes donated by the City of Converse.
Door Prizes will be donated by City of Live Oak for the September meeting.
9. Adjournment.
Mayor Suarez adjourned the meeting at 1:20 P.M.
