What is the Capital Improvement Advisory Committee?
The functions of the Committee are those set forth in Tex. Rev. Civ.
Stat., Article 1269j-4.11, or any successor statute, and shall include the
following:
Advise and assist the City Council in adopting land use
assumptions;
Review the capital improvements plan regarding water and
wastewater capital improvements and file written comments
thereon;
Monitor and evaluate implementation of the capital
improvements program;
File written comments with the City on the proposed capital
improvements plan and impact fees not less than five days
prior to the public hearing addressing the adoption of impact
fees;
Advise the City Council of the need to update or revise the
land use assumptions, capital improvements program and
capital recovery fees; and
File a semiannual report evaluating the progress of the City in
achieving the capital improvements plans and identifying any
problems in implementing the plans or administering the
capital recovery fees.
