General Operation:
Book sales are still doing well even though the book store was not open for business
as many days as normal due to the holiday break. There was a discussion about
increasing the cost of a bag for March's bag sale. It was decided to leave the cost
unchanged this sale (March) but to increase the cost of a bag to $4.00 at the next bag
sale and to communicate to customers the future price increase during the March
sale. A sign -up sheet for the bag sale will be passed around next (February) Board
meeting.
Joanne also discussed the need for a "refresher" for our volunteers regarding correct
procedures in the book store. She is going to rework a list of procedures and will
bring to the next meeting for approval.
