DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION:
6. Bookstore Merchandise:
- The consignment company used in the past has been non - responsive. Last check
was received in February 2018. After researching new options, there are four
companies to discuss and the option of direct sales. Book Trolls was an option but
the point of contact is the same as the non - responsive company used in the past so
no. Thrift Books, Better World Books, and Texas Book Consignment are options. Or
if someone was willing to assume responsibility, the bookstore could sell direct to
customers but response time is important.
- Patti Dilworth provided her research and input regarding ease of Web site. She
suggested we call Texas Book Consignment and try them first. Melissa agreed to
contact them and provide follow -up next month.
