AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE CITY OF CIBOLO'S EXTRATERRITORIAL
JURISDICTION IN GUADCO MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 1 AND
GUADCO MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 2 AND RELEASING TO THE
CITY OF CIBOLO CERTAIN DEFINED LAND IN THE EXTRATERRITORIAL
JURISDICTION OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Schertz is considering the annexation of GUADCO
Municipal Utility District No. 1 and GUADCO Municipal Utility District No. 2 (the "Districts "); and
WHEREAS, a portion of each of the Districts lies in the extraterritorial jurisdiction ( "ETJ ") of the
City of Cibolo; and
WHEREAS, the City of Schertz has requested that the City of Cibolo release the area of its ETJ in
which a portion of each of the Districts lies as described in Exhibit A, Exhibit B, and Exhibit C; and
WHEREAS, the City of Cibolo has agreed to release the ETJ in which a portion of each of the
Districts lies if the City of Schertz agrees to release to the City of Cibolo certain land in the ETJ of the City
of Schertz as described in Exhibit D;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Schertz hereby accepts into its ETJ from the ETJ of the City of Cibolo
the land described in attached Exhibit A, Exhibit B, and Exhibit C.
SECTION 2. The City of Schertz hereby releases to the City of Cibolo from the ETJ of the City of
Schertz the land described in attached Exhibit D.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its final passage, and
it is so ordained.

located in Guadalupe County, Texas, said tract being a part of a 171.719 acre tract described in Vol. 480,
page 287 of the Guadalupe County Deed Records and a part of a 453.754 acre tract described in Vol. 485
page 529 of the Guadalupe County Deed Records and No. 132860 of the Comal County Deed Records, said
310.3344 acre tract being described as follows:
Beginning at an Iron pin marking the lower east comer of said 171.719 acre tract;
Thence, N 59057'07" E, 4,147.67 ft. to a point located on the north right of way line of Green Valley Road;
