Consideration and/or action approving a Resolution supporting Senate Bill 2 (SB2) and House
Bill 2 (HB2), companion bills of the 86th Texas Legislature relating to ad valorem taxation. (Item
requested by Councilmember Larson)
Mayor Carpenter recognized Councilmember Scagliola who moved seconded by
Councilmember Edwards to deny Resolution No. 19-R-30. The vote was 6-0-1 Mayor
Pro-Tem Heyward, Councilmembers Davis, Gutierrez, Edwards, Scagliola and
Brown voting yes and Councilmember Larson no one voting no. Motion Passed
