AN ORDINANCE
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS, BE AMENDED BY
REVISING SECTION 7-1/2-54, EXHIBIT 2 GARBAGE
RATE SCHEDULE; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE;
AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS:

THAT Section 7-1/2-54 Exhibit 2 of the Code of Ordinances,
City of Schertz, Texas is hereby amended to read as follows:

3. Commercial Containers. Franchisee will provide
commercial containers to those customers who desire to use
them in lieu of garbage cans. The use of such Franchisee
provided containers is required by this contract. Rates for
containers and pickup will be based on the following table:

5. Wet Material. Rates on Compactor containers or open top
containers with wet material must be negotiated with
customers at the time they are needed. This type of waste
must be hauled to a Type I landfill which generally has a
higher disposal rate attached to it.

THAT the effective date of this ordinance shall be January
1, 1991.

this ordinance are hereby repealed.
