The City
• Schertz Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) Board • Directors met for a
Regular Monthly Meeting on Thursday, April 29,2021, at 6:00 p.m. in the Hal Baldwin Municipal
Complex, Council Chambers, Building No. 4, 1400 Schertz Parkway, Schertz, Texas. This is an
open meeting, subject to the open meeting laws of the State of Texas.
Call to order

Board President Macaluso presided the meeting and called it to order at 6:00 p.m. Mr. Macalu
welcomed everyone in attendance.

3. Approval of the minutes for the Board of Directors Regular Monthly Meeting held on
Thursday, March 25, 2021. (P. Horan)
A motion to approve the minutes for the Board of Directors Regular Monthly Meeting held on
Thursday, March 25, 2021, was made by Mr. McDaniel and seconded by Mr. Hamilton. Motion
passed unanimously.

8. Requests by Board Members to place items on a future SEDC Board Meeting agenda.
Mr. Richard requested an update on the status of the adjacent lot (1300 Schertz Parkway) that is
owned by the SEDC. Mr. Perez commented discussions regarding the development or disposal of
the sit were on hold for the site's development in coordination with the City of Schertz overall facility
plans to include new emergency services buildings and City Hall.
