Board President Macaluso presided the meeting and called it to order at 6:00 p.m. Mr. Macaluso
welcomed everyone in attendance.

2. Oath of Office for reappointed SEDC Board Members: Roy Richard and Bryan Snowden. Members
were reappointed by City Council on 6/01/2021 for a term of two years ending on 5/31/2023. (B.

3. Introduction of new employees: Channary Gould — Business Retention and Expansion Manager and
Sheree Courney — Administrative Assistant.

6. Staff briefing on SEDC Financial statement for the months of May 2021 and June 2021. (J.

Mr. Walters provided the followings and overview of the SEDC Financial Statement for
the month of May 2021:
May 2021 saw a 23.7% increase in sales tax over the previous May resuming the trend of r
growth. 12 month rolling average was 2.9% continuing an upward trend. Expenditures were s

Mr. Walters provided the following summary and oveMew of the SEDC Financial Statement
the month of June 2021:
June 2021 had a 24.0% increase in sales taxes with no audit adjustments. Two months back-to-back
