The Hearing of Residents is a time set-aside for any person who wishes to
address the Commission.Presentations should be limited to no more than 5
minutes.Each person should fill out the Speaker’s register prior to the meeting
located in the lobby.The Commission can only discuss items that are on the
agenda.Discussion by the Commission of any item not on the agenda shall be
limited to statements of specific information given in response to any inquiry,a
recitation of existing policy in response to an inquiry,and/or a proposal to place
the item on a future agenda.The presiding officer,during the Hearing of
Residents portion of the agenda,will call on those persons who have signed up
to speak in the order they have registered.If you have any handouts to provide
for the Commission please visit a City Staff member prior to the meeting.

–median width is not adequate
•Staff recommendation: TSAC recommend to City Council to
authorize placement of a sign prohibiting U-turns on Schertz

Status: Field data collection complete, data analysis underway

•Woodland Oaks (east of FM 3009)
•Bench Trail
•Cliffside Drive
•Rhine Valley Subdivision
Status: Data collection on hold pending diagnosis and repair of
equipment issues

TSAC items with City Council involvement:
•Chapter 86 Update
–Waiting to update until inventory of all traffic control signs is completed (being
collected with Pavement Condition Index (PCI) Study
–Field data collection complete, analysis underway, results expected in June/July
•Establishment of school speed zone and no parking/stopping/standing
zones on Fairlawn near IH 35
–Approved by Council on first reading May 24, 2022
–Final reading scheduled June 7, 2022
