1977R10- EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED RESOLUTION NO. 7?-1f'-1t,L A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED CONVEYING A PORTION OF THE RITTIMANN WATER SYSTEM TO MR. RAY RITTIMANN WHEREAS, the U. S. Corps of Engineers is in the process of acquiring property adjacent to the east runway of Randolph Air Force Base; and WHEREAS, the Corps find it necessary to negotiate with Ray Rittimann for his property between the runway and FM 78, said pro- perty being part of that property over which the City-owned water system known as the Rittimann Water System exists; and WHEREAS, the Corps cannot negotiate with Mr. Rittimann for his land unless he holds deed to the water system and water well thereon; and WHEREAS, the City is desirous of assisting the Corps of Engineers in its efforts of land purchase in the designated "clear" zone; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS: That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a Quitclaim Deed to convey all the City's rights, title and interest in that certain 3.73 acre parcel of land as described in metes and bounds marked Exhibit A as an attachment to said Quitclaim Deed for the consideration of $1,175.00.
