LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD MINUTES
The LAB met in regular session on Monday, March 3, 1992.

The minutes were presented. Margaret moved they be accepted. Julie
seconded. Motion carried.

beginning of the month for the city to obtain the figures for Julie.

- that the city attorney sent Mr. Ron Wiederstein a letter saying his money for
the use of the meeting room was due at City Hall by 2/29/92.
- the Schertz Business Club sent a note asking for Library participation in the
4th of July parade.
- she held a workshop at our library on 2/213/92 for D-IO librarians about the summer
reading club. She. ,bought t_ extra tables for the workshop which are to be used in
the Book Store too~
- she plans to wait until fall for the additional nonfiction shelves.
- she has not decided about attending the TLA Convention in Houston' in April.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
No Report from Finance. or Hospitality.
Publicity - Connie has the letters ready to go to the media about the book sale.
Policy - Margaret hopes to get our policy computer ready this summer.
Book- Richard passed out the book sale flyers for distribution and the work schedule
sign up sheet. Anyone who can should help set up the sale on the 25th and 26th. The
presale will be held again on the 26th.
