- Mr. Sweatt has not asked her in for their budget chat and there's no word on
when the budget goes to council workshop.
- the reading clubs (3) are going great - the two speakers have been the lIEat
Ladyllfrom Austin and the n Snake Man". Steve Starr.
- she has two 15 yr. old girls working from JTPA (Job Training Partnership of
America). .
- the book store is operating well; the JTPA girls will be heloing there too.
- that Lee LaCaff (D-IO Coordinator) called and asked her to be on the state
Sunset Commission and she accepted.

- Margaret asked about the parking lot stripes; Gail will turn in a work order.
- Gail decided to DUrchase a computer before purchasing Precision I since she
might be able to get a good price as the city recently placed a big order with IBM.

- Ruth.recommended Sylvia Marbach of Cibolo as our county representative;
Richard seconded. Motion carried. Barbara will recommend her to council.
- Julie mentioned several pecan trees were hanging over the parking area and
sidewalks. Gail will turn in a 'WOrk order if Margaret doesn I t trim first.
- Julie moved we adjourn. Richard seconded. Meeting adjourned.
