The minutes were presented. Ruth moved to accept the minutes.
Tony seconded. Motion passed.
Julie had some questions concerning the treasurer's report. She
stated she will have it cleared up by the next ~eeting at which
time an updated report will be presented.
Seven members of the genealogy group were present. Margaret
presented the draft of an Operating Agreement to be signed by the
Library Director and a representa~ive of the genealogy group.
Deletions and additions to the agreement were discussed, and it
was agreed that the agreement would be typed up in final form and
presented to the Executive Committee of the genealogy group for
their review and return to the Library Board.
Mrs. Behne with the genealogy group asked about the purchase of
tables and chairs for the library. She said they Planned ~o
donate $300.00 for that purpose, but that they needed to raise
the funds first. She stated they had plans for a fund-raiser
later in the year. Gail stated that these items were already in
the budget, but if they wished to do~ate something at a later
date it would be greatly appreciated.

She will check into the matter further and advise us.
Ruth reported she is working on a grant application, buts~ill
needs a few items to complete it.
David asked for one more day to put up sheetrock. He recommended
we hire someone to hang the ceiling grids. Tony suggest€cJ a work
day on September 23, 1989.
