The Library Advisory Board met on Monday, November 6, 1989, at

Council Representative
Ada Howard, Librarian from the Seguin Library was present. She
was visiting in the interest of cooperation between the two
libraries. She invited anyone to attend their meetings which are
on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 5:00 P.M.
The minutes were presented. Tony moved to accept the minutes.
Ruth seconded. Motion passed.

Gail stated that from now on all money~s to be turned over to
the city for bookkeeping purposes.

Gail reported that after the first of the year we will have an
aerobics class for city employees.

Gail will interview applicants tomorrow for the position of part

After the first of the year the library will be open on Monday.
The hours that it will be open have not yet been decided.

Ruth reported she is still working on the grants and

Gerald, chairman of the nominating committee, reporte~d that
everyone was interested in serving again except Tony Paulson.
Gerald was given several names as pCtssibilities fCtr a replacement
for Tony's board position.
David reported that we need a work day in Novertlber or the first
part of December to lay in the ceiling tile and insulate the
ceiling. We will have to wait until the electrician is finished

day, but to leave it up to individuals to come in whenever
possible to work.
