1. The LAB met in regular session on January 3~ 1994.

The December minutes were presented. Ruth moved they be accepted. Julie
seconded. Motion carried.
L~~ -rtle Treasurer:'s Report was Dresen'led" Julie F~ported the bookstore made
$141.80 in December. Connie moved to accept the report and Ruth
seconded. Motion carried.

a. Stats were down for the month.
b. Video rentals were up to over 400 for the month.

d. Gail suggested policy meeting be called for February ~ at 7:30 P.M.
Policy members include Ruth~ Julie and Margaret.
Gail also reported that we have a new sign for the bookstore.

Gail informed us that we now have another new computer.
6. Old Business:

computer records and will start his first story hour this week.

Gail expressed sadness over the death of Johnny Peterson.

c. Letters of apprecIatIon are ready to present to Sylvia and Gerald.

a. It was decided to ask Butch Fries if he was interested 1n becoming a
LAB member. Richard will take care of this.
b. It was noted that Gail had an article published in the Texas
Libraries Magazine.
c. Dan suggested that each committee meet before or after our regular
meeting about twice during the year.
d. Mary suggested the Book Sale Committee meet before the March LAB
meeting so plans could be announced for the upcoming book sale.
Richard~ Connie and Mary are on this committee. It was decided they
will also meet at the Feb 3 meeting.
