SCHERTZ PUBLIC LffiRARY ADVISORY BOARD MINUTES

The LAB met in regular session on Monday, March 7, 1994.
Members present:
Richard Cervantes

Mary McAllister
The minutes were presented. Dan moved to accept and Ruth seconded. Motion
carried.
The treasurer's report was presented. Margaret moved to accept and Mary
seconded. Motion carried.
Librarian's Report:
· Stats were up.
· Two representatives are needed for the County Library Federation. Dan and
Julie will be the representatives.
· Dan is working on retro conversion.
· TLA is at Corpus. Gail is interested in the Automation Workshops.
Committee Reports:
Finance, Building, Policy, Public Relations, and Bookstore Committees had
nothing to report.
Old Business:
· The bookstore will be closed April 26 and May 3rd as the annual book sale is
scheduled for May 1'th and 8+11. b ~ .A_? ~
· A work day for April 22nd beginning at 10:00 is scheduled.
New Business:
· Ann Vick and Barbara Stanhope have volunteered to open the bookstore on
Fridays from 10-2. This will begin after the May~ book sale.
