The Library Board met in regular session on Monday. June 13. 1994
with the following members present:
Margaret Riley, Richard Cervantes, Pattie Lovelady. Gail Douglas
Julie Parr. Connie Brison. Mary McAllister and Earl Sawyer.
Minutes from the meeting of May 2, 1994 , were presented. Julie
moved that the minutes be accepted. Margaret seconded and the
motion carried.
TREASURER'S REPORT; Julie reported that the book sale profits
were $571.89. The book store sales reported $76.50 in sales.
Connie moved to accept the Treasurer's report. Mary seconded and
the motion carried.
LIBRARIAN'S REPORT:
- Stats were up this month
- The contract was returned from the city
--801 books were checked out after-Memorial Day
COMMITTEE REPORTS; Finance and Public Relations had nothing to
report. The Building co~nittee is waiting on an adjustment on
the sign that was blown down during the recent storm. The Book
store committee suggested we do more advertising because many
people were not aware of the existence of one. It was suggested
that we use the water bill and the newsletter to advertise. It
was also suggested that we look into opening the book store on
Friday.

NB'l BUS INESS :
Welcome to Earl Sawyer
Richard will be gone the month of July
Dan wiil provide the vehicle for the 4th of July parade
Plans were made to decorate a float
Theme will be "Texas writers" for the library float
Overall theme is "Freedom-Texas Style" and our sign \"il1 read
"Freadom-Texas Style"
The first workday Hill be at Mary's house on June 21 at 7:00
CITIZENS TO BE HEARD; None
ADJOURNMENT: Connie moved that the Board adjourn. Julie
seconded and the motion carried.
