Ruth and LJ!1n attended the Hill Country District meeting at New Bra-
unfels Jan. 28th. They were planning to attend a workshop Feb. 7th for
Art, Lit'erature a.nd Mus ic.
It was reported that Lois Moore was telephoning for overdue books with
grer>t success..
Rp:d Hensha.w Dis,trict IO Inter-Library Director visited the Schertz

Lynn reported a speaking en~agment for Rotary International on Feb.,the
4th..
Amendments for the Librpry Budget were to be at City Hall by Feb., I5.
Books now catalouged and on the shelve total IO,.393..
Budget and Finance Doug Mi,kus reported that the J. Frank Dubie
grants would be decided April I6-19.
Building Kermit reported that Mr. Mathis could not stsrt
on the book shelves before March because of stock shows.>
Publicity Lynn reported that pictures of the Lionesstess
donation and lists of new books would a.ppear in the Eeb.. 6th issue of
the papers. The board was reminded of the book sale the last of March..
Henry Delany offered the use of his pickup to move the books to the
Community Center..
New Bu~iness It was brought to the attention of the Board
that Ljnnf's hours far surpassed those. for which she was being paid..
It wes suggested she should request a 30 hour week from City H ell and
to tske time off when she knew she had dependable volunteers on duty..
It was agreed that the $5000.00 Revenue Sharing Funds be invested in a
90day C.D. for the building fund.
