A Movie Hour began in September. Average attendance for these Saturday

beginning in Uctober, there will be a story hour on \Jednesday mornings.
Alexander the Great prints are on display in the library. These prints are
on loan from Seguin.
A film will be shown here at,the'library for'oClelnEms Histo3:'y',students.
Gail spoke to a class of third graders concerning the duties of' a libranan.
The llbrary has several new volunteers.
A second bench has been purchased and secured in the front.
The book drop has been stolen. Gail will purchase an outdoor street book
drop. Gail will also check to see if the book drop was covered by insurance.
The possibility of bricking the building was once again discussed. Fred
will check into the cost of bricks. A Schertz City Council workshop session
will be held on October, 30. It was suggested that Hoard members attend thls
session to iurther dlSCUSS the pOSSlblllty oT bric~lng the library.

The Mellon Grant has been approved. The books will be sent to us upon
receipt of the first $250.
Seguin had a Ground Breaking Ceremony for their library addition.
Gail will provide support for a Library Booth at the Guadalupe County
Fair.
BUILDING
An additional light has been installed in the library.
The sprinKler system will checked again.
NEW BUSINESS

A Nominating Committee was appointed. Margaret, Fred and Gene will serve on
this committee.
The 5-Year Committee is to report in December.
Connie and Mary were appointed to audit the books.
Fred moved that the meeting adjourn. Margaret seconded.
