1983, at 7:05 PM.
Members present were:

Doris Courtney, Secretary

A short meeting was held with Mayor Earl Sawyer and City Manager
Jimmy Gilmore to discuss ways in which the city can help us financially
with the new library. The city cannot be a guarantor for a loan.
Alternate ways will be brought up at the next city council meeting.
The city needs definite costs so the city's financial advisor can look
at them. We could get a Certificate of Obligation which is guaranteed
by taxes. Schertz Bank is willing to help in any way. Fred Ross will
come up with construction costs and drawing estimates.
