PLANNING AND ZONING MINUTES
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Schertz convened
in regular session Tuesday, February 13, 1979 p.m. in the Municipal
Complex Conference Room, 1400 Live Oak Road, The following members.
were present:

#1 CALL TO ORDER - The meeting was called to order by Chairman
Aguilar at 7:00.
#2 READING OF MINUTES - The minutes of January 23, were read.
Motion to accept the minutes as read was made by John
Linebarger. Motion was seconded by John Marquette, all
were in favor, motion carried.
#3 INTERVIEW OF P&Z CANDIDATE - Mr. Kenneth M. Greenwald was
introduced to the Commission. Mr. Greenwald had expressed
his desire to be on the Zoning Commission. His application
was reviewed by the Commission. After interview John Linebarger
made a motion to recommerid to City Council the appointment of
Mr. Greenwald as a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission.
Motion was seconded by Charles Sharp, Motion carried unanimously.
Mr. Greenwald's name will be forwarded to the City Council for
further action and official appointment to the Planning and
Zoning Commission.
#4 REVIEW PROPOSED ZONING ORDINANCE - The Commission reviewed,
made corrections and additions to the proposed Zoning Ordinance
up to Articale XIX Sec. 5.8. The Commission will start with
Article XX and the next regular meeting.
#5 GENERAL DISCUSSION - Charles Sharp was notified that he was
officially reappoin'ted to the Zoning Commission for the next
5 years. Their was some discussion concerning new members of
the Planning and Zoning Commission as there will be a vacancy
in March 1979, due to the transfer of John Marquette to another
Military Ass~gnment.
#6 ADJOURNMENT - There being no further business Chairman Aguilar
then closed the meeting.
