PLANNING AND ZONING MINUTES
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Schertz convened in regular
session Tuesday, April 10, 1979, at 7:00 p.m. in the Municipal Complex Conference
Room, 1400 Live Oak Road. The following members were present:

#1 CALL TO ORDER - The meeting was called to order by Chairman Aguilar at
7:00 p.m.
#2 READING OF MINUTES - The minutes of March 27, 1979 were read. Mr. Willman
pointed out that his name had been misspelled. Mr. Linebarger moved to accept
the minutes as corrected. The motion was seconded by Mr. Stanhope. Motion
carried unanimous.
#3 BRIEFING - Mr. Mark Graham of Comprehensive Design Incorporated gave a briefing
of what types of services his firm could offer the Commission. Mr. Aguilar
and Mr. Linebarger commented that they would like to have input from Com-
prehensive Design particularly in the planning stage of new subdivisions
to solve drainage problems and in the areas of pre-zoning.
#4 REVIEW OF PROPOSED ZONING ORDINANCE - The Commission then reviewed the
proposed zoning ordinance up to Article XXIII.
#5 GENERAL DISCUSSION - Mr. Aguilar requested that agenda item #5 be heard first.
No one objected.
Mr. Agui 1 ar asked what was goi ng to be done with i:the house that Mr. Roman
Frobese has moved onto his land on FM 3009. Mr. Garrison told the commission
that Mr. Frobese had secured the proper permits ,to work on the house and
was in the process of rewiring the building. Mr. Frobese hopes to use the
house as rent property.
Mr. Stomackin was thanked by the entire commission for his service on the
commission and he was congradulated on his successful election bid.
Mr. Hill told the commission that because of the outcome of April 7, election,
the duties of the,Board of Adjustments had been transfered to the City Council.
Mr. Hill suggested that the Commission may want to consider a former Board Member
to fill the vacancy created by Mr. Stomackin1s resignation.
#6 ADJOURNMENT - Mr. Aguilar ~ade a motion to adjourn the meeting.
