PLANNING AND ZONING MINUTES
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Schertz convened in
Special Session, Tuesday, April 29, 1980, at 7:00 PM, in the Municipal
Complex Conference Room, 1400 Live Oak Road. The following members
were present:

Adolph Aguilar, Chairman
John Linebarger, Vice-Chairman
Kenneth Greenwald
Raymond Stanhope

Ray Upton, City Inspector
Glynn Stanhope, Administrative Assistant

/11 CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Aguilar called the Special Session to order at 7:00 PM.

RECOMMENDATION TO THE CITY COUNCIL ON ZC-25
The Commission discussed the ZC-25 package. It agreeed that 79-A-24
be amended to include the R5, Garden Home District.
Mr. Linebarger moved to recommend to the City Council for ZC-25 to be
approved. Mr. Greenwald seconded the motion. The motion was carried
unanimously.
#3 RECOMMENDATION TO CITY COUNCIL
There were discussion as to which candidates was the most qualified,
who had their application on file the longest and which area of the
City they would represent.
Mr. Greenwald moved to recommend to the City Council to appoint Mr.
Frederick Martin, 4300 Lazy Oak Drive, to the Commission. Mr. Stan-
hope seconded the motion. The motion was carried unanimously.
Chairman Aguilar asked the City Staff to call the other candidtates
to thank them for their interest.
#4 GENERAL DISCUSSION
There were discussion as to who would be best qualified as the
Secretary. The decision was postponed until all the members of the
Commission could be presented.
