PLANNING AND ZONING MINUTES
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Schertz
convened in Regular Session, Tuesday, June 10, 1980, at
7:00 PM, in the Municipal Conference Room, 1400 Live Oak
Road. The following members were present:

Chairman Aguilar called the Regular Session to order at 7:00 PM.

Mr. Willman moved that the minutes be approved as written. Mr.
Greenwald seconded the motion. The motion was carried unanimously.

REVIEWING PROPOSALS FOR AN ORDINANCE REGULATING MOBILE HOME PARKS
It was generally agreed to use the "City of Schertz Draft Mobile
Home Ordinance" as a guideline and use ,the other material as
supplement to add to or clarify points.
It was asked-that the Gtiy Staff obtain recent State laws passed
on Mobile Homes. Further reviewing was tabled until the next
regular meeting.'
114 STAFF BRIEFING
Miss Stanhope stated that there was another church interested in
developing 2 vacant lots in front of Deer Haven, however, the
paster was informed that he would have to obtain a Specific Use
Permit as the zoning is currently R-l.
Lost Meadow Unit III will be ready in about a month to come before
the Commission with a Preliminary Plat with the option of Final
Approval.

Mr. Upton stated that another auto repair shop was interested in
developing in front of Mobile Villa on the IH 35 access road.

#5 GENERAL DISCUSSION
The members discussed land use possibilities for the 9 acre tract
between Pfeil Street and Live Oak Road.

Mr. Sharp moved for the meeting to be adjourned. Mr. Martin
seconded the motion. The motion was carried unanimously. Chairman
Aguilar adjourned the meeting at 8:43 PM.
