PLANNING AND ZONING MINUTES The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Schertz convened in Regular Session, Tuesday, September 12, 1978, at 7:00 p.m. in the Muni- cipal Complex Conference Room, 1400 Live Oak Road. CALL TO ORDER The meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission was called to order by Chairman Aguilar at 7:00 p.m. \ City Staff \ · Walter W. Hill, Jr., City Manager yJoe Garza, Administrative Assistant Richard Nash, Administrative Intern #2 APPROVAL OF MINUTES The minutes of August 22, 1978 were read. There being no correc- tions or additions, a motion was made by Mr. Stomackin that they be approved. The motion was seconded by Mr. Marquette, all were in favor, the motion carried unanimously. #3 PC-29 NORTHCLIFFE COUNTRY CLUB ESTATES SECTION 1 - VACATING AND REPLAT Preliminary/Final Plat Review A representative from U.S. Homes presented to the P & Z Commis- sion the rationale for the vacating and resubdivision of Lots 3 through 6, Block 3, Northcliffe Country Club Estates. He stated that for the money that was being paid for each piece of property, and for the size of homes being built, the lots should be larger. This was the reason for the resubdivision of these lots. Mr. Stomackin made a motion that Northcliffe Country Club Estates Unit I (Lots 3 through 6, Block 3 vacated and resubdivided to lots 59 through 61,Block 3) be approved as presented. Motion was se- conded by Mr. Stanhope, all members were in favor, motion carried. #4 PC-30 BAVARIAN VILLAGE SHOPPING CENTER SUBDIVISION Preliminary Plat Mr. Graham L. Burris presented the Commission the plat of Bava- rian Village. After all discussion was terminated, Mr. Marquette made a motion to approve the preliminary plat of Bavarian Village. ~, e e . ~ This motion was seconded by Mr. Stomackin. All members voted in favor of approval except Mr. Sharp who disqualified himself due to the proximity of his property to Bavarian Village. Mo- tion carried. #5 REVIEW OF PROPOSED ZONING ORDINANCE #6 ADJOURNMENT The meeting was adjourned at 9:10 p.m. W7
