PLANNING AND ZONING MINUTES
The Schertz Planning and Zoning COmmission convened in Regular Session
on Tuesday, November 23, 1982, at 7:00 PM, in the Conference Room of the
Municipal Complex, 1400 Live Oak Road. Members present were as follows:

#1 CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Linebarger called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.
#2 READING OF MINUTES: Meeting of November 9, 1982
Ray Stanhope made a motion to approve the mi nU,tes. Lee Boswell seconded
the motion and the vote was unanimous in favor.
#3 CONSIDER AND TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION: Request for a Lot Size Variance:
Mr. Howard Miller
Ken Greenwald made a motion to approve the variance request, Ray Stanhope
seconded the motion and the vote was unanimous in favor.
#4 CONSIDER AND TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION: Preliminary Plat Review:
Coastal Equities, Inc.
No representatives from Coastal Equities, Inc. were present. Therefore,
no action was taken on this agenda item.
#5 CONSIDER AND TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION: Preliminary Plat Review:
La Posada, Inc., Mr. Don Decker
No representatives from La Posada, Inc., were present. Therefore, no action
was taken on this agenda item.

#6 CONSIDER AND TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION: The construction of a church at
intersection of Pecan Avenue and
Farm to Market Road 1518
No representatives were present to discuss this item, therefore, no action
was taken.
#7 STAFF BRIEFING
Tom Brooks advised the Commission that there has been an inquiring into
the possibility of extending the General Business Zoning in the area
near Mobile Villa. It was the general consensus of the Commission that
type of zoning would be favorable considered for that area but would
have to be further evaluated before a formal decision could be rendered.
