PLANNING AND ZONING MINUTES
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Schertz convened in regular
session, Tuesday February 10, 1981 at 7:00 PM, in the Municipal Conference
Room, 1400 Live Oak Road. The following members were present:

III CALL TO ORDER:
Chairman Aguilar called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.
#2 READING OF MINUTES: 27 January 1981
There were some minor grammatical changes made to the minutes and then
Charles Sharp made a motion they be aecepted. Ray Stanhope seconded the motion
and it was carried unanimously.
#3 RANDOLPH CHRISTIAN CHURCH:
Reverend Church diseussed problems they were eneou~r~n~.with the City
Engineer limiting their attempts to build. The P and Z ~r/~viewed the
minutes of May 28 1980 and there is the possibility of a problem with Mr.
Anderson having to get a Plat of the Sub-Division. The P and Z Council had
no information as t~at' the City Manager and/or the City Engineer were talking
about. The P and Z t1~~t be provided more information before any
further action could be taken. This item had been put on adgenda at the request
of Reverend Church. The P and Z Couneil was expeeting a progress report and
was unprepared for discussion.
#4 DISCUSSION ON CHANGES TO ORDINANCES:
The proposed changes were reviewed and for the most part aecepted. Work
will continue at the next meeting.
#5 STAFF BRIEFING:
Ray Upton provided a briefing on current status of projects in progress
around Schertz.
#6 GENERAL DISCUSSION:
Discussion was short. on public hearing and Mr. John needing to submit a
request for a permit to build a house on his property On IH-35.

Chairman Aguilar adjourned the meeting at 9:10 P.M.
