BOARD OF DIRECTORS' MEETING
Regular Meeting
October 23, 2008
The City of Schertz Economic Development Corporation (EDC) will meet for a regular meeting on
Thursday, October 23, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. in the City Council Chambers, 1400 Schertz Parkway,
Schertz, Texas. This is an open meeting, subject to the open meeting laws of the State of Texas.
Notice of time, date, place, and agenda is hereby posted on or before Monday, October 20, 2008 at
11:30 a.m., as required by law. This facility is wheelchair accessible and accessible parking spaces are
available. Audio units for the hearing impaired are available for any meeting. Advanced notice is
recommended.

3. Approval of meeting minutes dated September 25, 2008.
4. Discussion, direction and action on election of officers for the Schertz Economic
Development Corporation.
5. Healthcare update.
6. Discussion, direction and possible action on adoption of new incentive policy and application.
7. Closed Session in accordance with Texas Local Government Code, 551.086 (Economic
Development). In addition to the matters listed above, any matter scheduled for open session
maybe discussed in Closed Session, as deemed appropriate and authorized by law.
8. Action on executive session, if necessary.

9. Adjourn.
The Board reserves the right to discuss and appropriate act upon any item listed on the agenda in open session. In
addition, the Board reserves the right to adjourn into Closed Session at anytime during the course of this meeting to
discuss any of the abovementioned or following matters, as authorized by the Texas Local Government Code:
