ORDINANCE NO. 08-S-26
AN ORDINANCE BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SCHERTZ, TEXAS AMENDING THE UNIFIED DEVELOPMENT CODE
(UDC) ORDINANCE 96-S-28 BY GRANTING A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT
FOR APPROXIMATELY 1.0:t ACRES OUT OF THE TORIBIO
HERRERA SURVEY, ABSREACT NO. 153 MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED AS LOT 21, BLOCK 2 OF THE WINDY MEADOWS
SUBDIVISION, GUADALUPE COUNTY, SCHERTZ, TEXAS FOR
COMMERCIAL USE IN THE AIR INSTALLATION COMPATIBLE USE
ZONE (AICUZ), (APZ-l); PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND
PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
THAT, UDC Ordinance No. 96-S-28 of the City of Schertz, Texas is hereby amended in the
following manner.
SECTION I
"Grant a Specific Use Permit for 1.0:1:: acres out of the Toribio Herrera Survey Abstract No. 153,
Guadalupe County, Schertz Texas, more particularly described as Lot 21, Block 2 of the Windy
Meadows Subdivision in the specific use exhibit as attached hereto as Exhibit A, to allow for a
commercial lot in the Air Installation Compatible Use Zone (AICUZ), (APZ-l)."
SECTION II
THAT, The Zoning District Map described and referred to in Article III, of the UDC, Ordinance
96-S-28 shall be changed to reflect the above amendments.
SECTION III
THAT this Ordinance shall be effective from and after its final passage and any publication
required by the City of Schertz.
SECTION IV
THAT all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Approved on first reading the 27TH day of May, 2008.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED the 3rd day of June, 2008.
