Subject: TSAC Recommendation to Install Cross Walk across Cherry Tree Dr.
On August 7, 2008 at the monthly TSAC meeting, discussion and action was taken to
recommend a crosswalk across Cherry Tree Dr'. to create a safe passageway for residents
utilizing the par~ and swimming pool. TSAC was briefed by Ms. Bell, HOA president,
regarding this issue and a motion was made for Larry Dublin, City of Schertz Engineer, to
perform a traffic study at the intersection of Cherry Tree Dr. and Turnabout Loop and
send his findings to City Council for approval if warranted.
Please see the results of the attached traffic study and engineer design exhibit. The City of
Schertz Engineer recommends this intersection become a three way stop and a crosswalk
be extended across Cherry Tree Dr.
