RESOLUTION NO. 76-/(-~
A RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
TO CONDUCT AN APPRAISAL OF PARCELS 53-2, 55-5 AND
55-7 AND, AUTHORIZING TOYE FOX, A CERTIFIED APPRAISER,
TO PERFORM THE APPRAISAL.
WHEREAS the City of Schertz intends to place Parcels 53-2,
55-5 and 55-7 for sale, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development,
Urban Renewal Handbook 7214.1 Rev., Land Marketing and Redevelopment
Chapter 3, Section 34a requires that an appraisal be performed at least
eighteen (18) months prior to the sale of any parcel of Urban Renewal
acquired land, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS, as follows:
SECTION I - The Director of Community Development be authorized to incur
the necessary expenses connected with an appraisal of Parcels 53-2, 55-5
and 55-7.
SECTION II - That Toye Fox, a certified appraiser, be authorized to conduct
the appraisal of parcels 53-2, 55-5 and 55-7.
SECTION III - This Resolution shall take effect immediately.
