12-07-1967-Disclosure-Schertz Urban Renewal AT:ge 1-4-1 11-20-67 A RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING THE DISCLOSURE BY WALTER SCHERTZ, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY OF OWNERSHIP OF CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATEO WITHIN PROPOSED URBAN RENEWAL AREAS WITHIN THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS AND FINDING NO VIOLATION OF THE PUBLIC INTEREST IN SAID REGARD. WHEREAS, a full disclosure has been made by Walter Schertz, Executive Director of the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Schertz concerning his ownership for many years of property now planned to be included within an Urban Renewal Project area within the City of Schertz; and WHEREAS, said ownership was not a voluntary acquisition of property or in any way influenced by the location of said Urban Renewal Project area; now, therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ: 1. The disclosure by Walter Schertz, Executive Director of the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Schertz, of ownership of certain land located within proposed Buffalo Valley North, Project Tex. R-112 within the City of Schertz is hereby acknowledged and is entered upon the Minutes of this Council. 2. The Agency hereby finds upon examination of the facts con- cerning the case, including the long ownership by the Sehertz family of the property in question, that no conflict of interest or violation of the public interest is involved in said ownership in that said ownership did not affect or influence in any way the boundaries of the project area.
