A RESOLUTION
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS,
SETTING THE TIME, DATE AND PLACE FOR PUBLIC HEARINGS
PUSUANT TO THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF 296.78 ACRES OF
LAND, MORE OR LESS, OUT OF COMAL COUNTY AND 51.852
ACRES, MORE OR LESS, OUT OF COMAL AND GUADALUPE COUNTIES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Schertz, Texas desires
to institute annexation proceedings concerning the territory described
herein; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 6, Article 970a, Vernon1s
Texas Civil Statutes, public hearings are required, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
THAT public hearings are hereby scheduled for 7:00 P.M., Tuesday,
May 1,1984, to be held in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Complex,
1400 Live Oak Road, Schertz, Texas, to obtain the views of the public con-
cerning the proposed annexation of a 296.78 acre tract of land as described
on the attached Fieldnotes and map; and approximately 51.852 acre tract of
land as described on the attached Fieldnotes and map; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
THAT a second public hearing is hereby scheduled for 7:00 P.M.
Tuesday, May 15, 1984, to be held in the Council Chambers of the Municipal
Complex, 1400 Live Oak Road, Schertz, Texas, to obtain the views of the
public concerning the proposed annexation of a 296.78 acre tract of land
and a 51.852 acre tract of land, both described on the attached fieldnotes:
and maps, and made a part hereof.
