A RESOLUTION
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS, SETTING A TIME, DATE AND PLACE FOR
PUBLIC HEARINGS PU RSU ANT TO THE PROPOSED
ANNEXATION OF 41.744 ACRES OF LAND, MORE OR
LESS, OUT OF GUADALUPE COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Schertz, Texas,
desires to institute proceedings concerning the territory
described herein; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 6, Article 970a,
Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes, public hearings are required, NOW
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
THAT a public hearing is hereby scheduled for 7:00 o'clock
p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 1986, to be held in the Council Chambers of
the Municipal Complex, 1400 Live Oak R oa d , Schertz, Texas, to
obtain the views of the public concerning the proposed annexation
of 41.744 acres of land as described on the attached fieldnotes
and map: and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
THAT a second public hearing is hereby scheduled for 7:00
o'clock p.m., Tuesday, May 14, 1986, to be held in the Council
Chambers of the Municipal Complex, 1400 Live Oak Road, Schertz,
Texas, to obtain the views of the public on the proposed
annexation of 41.744 acres of land, as described in the attached
fieldnote and map, and made a part hereof.

FIELDNOTE DESCRIPTION of 41.744 acres of land being out of
the G. Malpaz Survey No. 67, said property being the
right-of-way of Borgfeld Road and a portion of the C.D.R.
Investment property as recorded in Volume 718, Page 174 of
the Deed Records of Guadalupe County, Texas:
BEGINNING at a point being the City Limits Line of the City
of Schertz as annexed by Ordinance No. 214, May 12, 1970,
said point being the intersection of the North right-of-way
line of the Southern Pacific Railroad 100 foot right-of-way
and the East right-of-way line of F.M. 3009;
THENCE, with the City Limits Line of the City of Schertz and
the East right-of-way line of F.M. 3009 along the Westerly
property line of the C.D.R. Investment tract as recorded in
Volume 718, Page 1740f the Deed Records of Guadalupe County,
0 2742.8 feet to the Northwesterly
Texas, North 29 56'34" West,
corner of Borgfeld Road and being the Northwest corner of
this tract, said point also being the Southwest corner of the
City Limit Line of the City of Schertz as annexed by
Ordinance No. 83 -A-5, May 3, 1983;
THENCE, with the City Limits Line of the City of Schertz as
annexed by Ordinance No. 83 -A-5, May 3, 1983 and the North
right-of-way line of Borgfeld Road in a Northeasterly
direction as follows:
North 60003 '25" Ea st , 102.1 feet;
thence, with a circular curve to the right,
having a radius of 706.00 feet, a distance
of 554.49 feet;
thence, South 74056'35" Ea st , 302.27 feet;
thence, with a circular curve to the left,
having a radius of 570.00 feet, a distance
of 419.50 feet;
thence, North 62053' 20" Ea st , 900 feet to a
point in the North right-of-way line of
Borgfeld Road;
THENCE, South 30006'05" East, 60.00 feet crossing Borgfeld
Road to a said point being the Northwest corner of the City
Limits Line of the City of Cibolo as annexed by Ordinance No.
328;
THENCE, South 31020'30" East, 275.93 feet to point being the
Northest corner of the Harry G. Bligh 151. 5 acre tract of
land as recorded in Volume 350, Pages 532-534 of the Deed
Records of Guadalupe County, Texas;
THENCE, South 59054'00" Ea st , 1749.12 feet to a point being
the Northwest corner of the Harry G. Bligh tract;
THENCE, South 30015'00" East, 1137.81 feet along the Westerly
property line of the Harry G. Bligh tract;
THENCE, South 29056' 34" East, 751.90 feet to a point in the
North right-of-way line of the Southern Pacific Railroad;
THENCE, in a Southwesterly direction along the Northern
right-of-way line of the Southern Pacific Railroad along a
circular curve to the left, having a radius of 3869.70 feet a
distance of 369.51 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING, containing
41.744 acres of land.
