A RESOLUTION
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS, CASTING VOTES TO ELECT DIRECTORS FOR THE
GUADALUPE COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT FOR THE YEARS
1998-1999.
WHEREAS, Section 6.03 (g), of the Texas Property Tax
Code, as amended by SB 469, requires that each taxing unit
entitled to vote cast their vote by Resolution and submit
results of that vote to the Chief Appraiser of the
Guadalupe County Appraisal District by November 15, 1997;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
THAT, the City of Schertz submits the above Official
Ballot, as issued by the Chief Appraiser, stating the vote
for the candidates for the election of the Board of
Directors for the Guadalupe County Appraisal District for
1998-1999.
ACTION TAKEN this 12th day of November, 1997 in
Special Session of the governing body of the above
mentioned taxing unit; as authorized under Section 6.03 of
the Texas Property Tax Code, and amended by SB 469, for the
purpose of casting votes to elect the Board of Directors of
the Guadalupe County Appraisal Distr"ct.

Dear Mr. Patrick,
As you know, the Schertz City Council, at their regular
meeting on November 4, 1997, denied your request for a
Specific Use Permit allowing you to display residential
playground equipment at 17144 18-35 N. The main reason for
the denial was Council felt, because of the location, there
would be too much of an increase in traffic through the
Mobile Villa Subdivision in order to access your place of
business.
If you have questions regarding Council's action, do not
hesitate to call.
